Somewhere between Rock, Industrial, and EBM lies Saint Eve, a band that shamelessly and proudly mixes and matches genres and styles to yield a very distinct musical style. Those who have a large guitar aversion will probably tune this band out at the first track, as this band unashamedly uses guitars heavily, and several tracks have a alt. rock flavor that would make some electronic pop fans tune out quickly. However, there are several tracks here that also rely heavily on synths as well.

Tracks of particular note to me were "Jets", "Good Intentions", "While The City Sleeps", and a very interesting cover of R.E.M.'s "It's The End Of The World As We Know It". All these songs were the particularly outstanding songs, but the whole album was fairly enjoyable. As I said, electronic purists might not find the unique hybrid sound that Saint Eve has found to be all that appealing, but I found it to be interesting. Worth checking into, certainly...
