I really, really like this album. Joy Electric finally gets a little more in your face about their beliefs, and it works wonderfully. Songs such as The Voice Of The Young, Children Of The Lord, Lift Up Your Hearts, I Sing Electric, and True Harmony are up-front about Christianity, and the state of contemporary Christian music. There are a few songs which go back to the fairy-tale imagery of old Joy Electric, but being dispersed with the other songs actually makes them more enjoyable. I personally would have preferred the MXPX cover to be on the album instead of the Keith Green cover "Make My Life A Prayer", but the Keith Green cover is still a good song.

Added note: Some have said that Ronnie gets a little extremist with his lyrics in Lift Up Your Hearts. But, I don't see anything overly fanatical here. In my personal opinion, he's just telling it like it is.
