This is the fourth disc of the Fear Series boxset, a CD single for "On The Highway". This was one of my favorite tracks from the "Fear Of A Red Planet", and I'm glad to see it get the single treatment. It's a low tempo driving song, no pounding rhythm but still a engaging track. The b-side tracks include "Destiny" from the album, and the exclusive track "Thousand Faces". "Thousand Faces" features a harsh guitar sound in the intro, and a more prominent role for the guitar in the track than usual. A odd note here is that the recording quality of the track seems to be somewhat lacking compared to the other tracks. It's a interesting track, but is placed where it belongs..

The three remixes on the disc take some interesting tacks on the tracks. The Interstate 5 Mix of "On The Highway" plays out like a extended 12" mix of the track, with a slightly slower tempo. The Nearing Childwall mix of "Destiny" is a more instrumental version of the song, with the vocal portion of the song condensed into less than half of the overall track. It's a really, really awesome version of the song... but I still thing that there should be a "Young Frankenstein" sample in this song somewhere...

The final mix of "On The Highway", gives the song a more melodic tone, with some more metallic, electro-style sounds worked into the song. However, it totally removes the vocals from the track. It transforms the song into a somewhat spooky, but really fun track. Great!
