It'd actually be really easy to convince me this is really a single with 2 A-sides. There are actually more mixes of "The Thought Of You" than there are of the title track, which is quite odd. "Goodbye" was my favorite song from "The Crypt", so I'm left wondering why the track is kinda snubbed on it's own single. The only true B-side here, "Dance Of The Wounded Bee", is really a peaceful, beautiful instrumental. A great track. The sabbat mix of "The Thought Of You" really takes the track in to the heart of club music, letting the beat and drums take the forefront, while placing the melody and vocals in the background of the mix. The Armand's theme version of Goodbye is a really dark, brooding take on the song. To be honest, I can really see this track playing over the opening credits of a horror film.

The 3D Vengeful mix of "The Thought Of You" is even more club oriented than the Sabbat mix, but manages to keep most of the original sounds and melody intact. The Habitual Clone 4 mix of "The Thought Of You" is easliy the most impressive remix on this disc. It really injects a hearty synthpop feel into the song, with a bouncy bassline and persistent beat. An really excellent remix. The Prelude to a Mix version of "Goodbye" really lends an isolated feel to the song, with the high synth in the background, and the piano providing the low, punctual bass notes. Excellent. The hidden version of Goodbye is neat, but just waaay too short. 


Overall, though I would have preferred a little more balance in the tracks in favor of "Goodbye", this is still a really good single.
