Disarray was one of my favorite songs from "The Eagle And Child", and I was really glad to hear that Red Flag was releasing it on a single. Well, to make a long story short, the price of the Megablack single made me a lot less eager to get this. But, when the boxed set became available, I eagerly snatched it up to get the megablack cd singles. The remixes here don't disappoint. The Reminiscent mix of "Disarray" adds a brooding, foreboding sense to the song, which works really well with the lyrics. The Remix Beta retools the track for the dancefloor, powering up the beat of the song and dropping the bass way down. The LP14 mix of "The Eagle And Child" is very stylistically similar to the Prelude to a Mix versions, as it is really stripped down, to minimal percussion, and mainly a piano in the lead melody. Scribe Machine lends their trance leanings to "Disarray", turning it into a trancy hard-hitting addictive track. Excellent. The Prelude to a Mix version of Disarray is a cool, funky track with a hard-hitting beat and the vocals seem to float in and out, and around the room.. cool. 
An excellent CD single. Highly recommended!
