I must admit, I was once firmly in the camp of those who said they'd never buy anything from Red Flag again after the Megablack Cd singles (with their megaprices) started coming out. But, then RF released these 2 samplers on mp3.com, and priced them somewhat more reasonably. I was curious to hear some new RF (the last album of thiers I owned was Caveat Emptor, and I don't remember caring much at all for it). This sampler, with its excellent tracks and remixes, is slowly returning me to Red Flag fandom. Some of these songs are light-years beyond what I last heard from them. Especially the songs "King of Everything", "Goodbye", and "L.O.V.E.". I find myself putting those tracks on repeat a lot lately. The new material is not nearly as laid-back as the previous material I'd heard from RF. All three of the remixes are really enjoyable, but I have to say the "Disarray" and "The Thought Of You" remixes are really superb. All in all, this is an excellent sampler of some of Red Flag's newer material, and I recommend it if you're looking to find out what Red Flag has been up to lately. However, if you want a combo of some of their best older material, plus the new songs, (basically a good overall sampler of Red Flag material) try the Silver Edition of this Cd..
