I got the first RS1 release, and liked the English language synthpop music, but the Spanish language tracks, plus the last track, a 10 minute remix that was very repetitive turned me off to the album, and I ended up taking it to a local used CD store. I decided to give RS1 another chance upon hearing that a new album had come out, and picked it up. I was not disappointed. A more polished sound, and no remixes that were annoying. A very good second album. I particularly like the cover of Yaz's "Only You". I couldn't stand the original because of the vocals (like nails down a chalkboard....), but this cover is great! I first heard the song Be Free in it's Pivot Clowj remixed form, on the Y2K Compliant compilation. It's also really good in it's original form, but the remix is really COOL! I was glad to see Gates Of Heaven on here, as that was the one songs that almost made me keep the entire first album, just for that one song. The remix isn't too drastic of a remix, so it's still very enjoyable. Good stuff... Added: Saturday, March 23, 2002 Reviewer: Jason Baker Score: hits: 701 Language: eng
